Trees will be planted in either the spring or fall. The cost is $300 per tree. The cost includes the tree, planting, mulching, staking, fencing and watering. The species of the tree will be determined by the location of the planting. Most often, the tree will be between 3-5 years old and 3-6 feet tall. A temporary plaque will be attached to the fencing of the tree for approximately one year, after which the sign will be removed to create a more natural setting. Please come visit the tree during that time so you know the location. The fencing will remain for 3-5 years to assure the tree is protected from animals.
